Missouri Southern
Missouri Southern University, located in Joplin, offers a course for students to obtain a CNC machining operator certificate. This program was developed for students who are not currently pursuing a degree. The program will provide individuals with the skills needed to operate CNC lathes and milling machines. Upon completion of the program, students will be well equipped to become a technician for CNC machining in Missouri.
There are some requirements before a student can become eligible to take this course. Each individual must have a math ACT score of 22 or higher, or complete MATH 0030 with a C or better, or have passed an ACT WorkKeys Applied Mathematics Test (Level 6 or higher).
Metropolitan Community College
Located at different sites near the Kansas City metro area, Metropolitan Community College offers a state-of-the-art precision machining lab for students pursuing a career in CNC machining in Kansas City. Metropolitan Community College is a HAAS Technical Center and Mastercam software training facility. Their program is also allied with the National Tooling and Machining Association.

Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC)
If you are pursuing a career in manufacturing, Ozarks Technical Community College is a place you might want to visit. Their mission is to train the next generation of manufacturing professionals and help them find employment with local businesses in their field.
The manufacturing department includes numerous tooling services in Missouri, including drafting and design technology, mechatronics, manufacturing technology, welding technology, and precision manufacturing techniques like CNC machining.
